Florian Bauernfeind operates the Trekki – Time Tracker mobile application (the „App“). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Data You Provide:
– Your Name (optional): Used to personalize exported reports
– Project Names & Categories: Names you create for organizing your time tracking
– Time Tracking Sessions: Duration, dates, and notes for your work sessions

Automatically Collected Data:
– Crash Reports & Diagnostics: We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and performance data to improve app stability. This may include device type, OS version, and app state at the time of a crash. No personal data is included in crash reports.

2. Data Storage

Local Storage:
All your time tracking data (projects, sessions, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.

iCloud Sync (Optional):
If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service. This data is:
– Encrypted and protected by Apple
– Only accessible to you via your Apple ID
– Not accessible to us

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

– We do not collect your location
– We do not collect your contacts
– We do not track your browsing activity
– We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
– We do not use advertising trackers

4. Third-Party Services

Apple CloudKit (Optional):
If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is processed according to https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Sentry (Crash Reporting):
Anonymous crash reports are processed by Sentry. See https://sentry.io/privacy/.

5. Data Retention

– Local data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear app data
– iCloud data remains in your iCloud account until you delete it or disable sync
– Crash reports are retained by Sentry for 90 days

6. Your Rights

You can:
– Delete all local data by uninstalling the app
– Disable iCloud Sync at any time in Settings
– Request deletion of crash report data by contacting us

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the „Last Updated“ date.
